Roni and Pete Hennis
Pete and I met in Ramona, CA in 1999. We married June 9, 2001. In 2004 we moved to Gentry, AR for 5 years where I worked for many years for a cutting horse trainer. In 2009 we moved to OK and found our dream home in the fall of 2010.
We have since been getting the ranch set up for the business.
I have ridden horses since the age of 8. I was always given a 2 year old to break because that was all we could afford. I would get them broke and started on the barrels, just about the time I could start running/showing them, my mother would give it to my younger sister to ride and give me a new one to start. My Sister won all kinds of ribbons, buckles, saddles and money on those horses I made. So I feel that my mother had a hand in shaping my future to become a trainer. I like to hand the reins over knowing anyone can ride and win on a horse I started. It means more to me than winning myself. I have pride in my horses I raise and train.
Pete works from home as a Managed Services Security Consultant. He also helps tremendously around the ranch.
